Minimum Requirements:

• State pharmacy technician license required. (Georgia license required if applicable.)
• Prior pharmacy technician experience required. Experience in compounding pharmacy preferred.
• Experience preparing IVs and sterile compounding required.
• Experience with prescription filling workflows, medication prepackaging, lot number and expiration tracking, and physical inventory procedures required.
• Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems for data entry and billing required.
• Ability to work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and assist with final checking processes required.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Additional Information

Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, assisting with billing data entry, prepackaging medications, assisting with inventory management, equipment checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Candidates will coordinate timely medication delivery and assist Pharmacy Management and Technician Supervisor as needed.
