We're hiring an experienced pharmacy technician for a contract position in Duluth, GA at a compounding pharmacy. In this role you will support pharmacists by assembling, stocking, and distributing medications with precision and adherence to standards. Minimum Requirements:
- State pharmacy technician license required. (Georgia license required if applicable.)
- Prior pharmacy technician experience required. Experience in compounding pharmacy preferred.
- Experience preparing IVs and sterile compounding required.
- Experience with prescription filling workflows, medication prepackaging, lot number and expiration tracking, and physical inventory procedures required.
- Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems for data entry and billing required.
- Ability to work under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and assist with final checking processes required.
- PTCB certification preferred.

Additional Information
Works under direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, preparing IVs, assisting with billing data entry, prepackaging medications, assisting with inventory management, equipment checks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Candidates will coordinate timely medication delivery and assist Pharmacy Management and Technician Supervisor as needed.
