Job Title: Pharmacist - Travel Job (#440670)
We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Minimum Requirements:
- Active Pharmacist license in the State of Florida required.
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
- Experience with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems required.
- Competence in medication reconciliation for discharge medication lists required.
- Clinical experience or working knowledge in antimicrobial stewardship, including interpretation of culture results and treatment recommendations for UTI, pneumonia, and SSTI preferred.
- Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing management and anticoagulation dosing management and monitoring preferred.
- Familiarity with controlled substance handling, inventory processes, and regulatory compliance required.
- Ability to prepare, label, and verify sterile and parenteral products and to ensure appropriate expiration dating required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for gathering pre-admission home medication lists and providing discharge counseling required.
- Prior experience participating in P&T committees, medication use reviews, and quality assurance processes preferred.

- Must comply with facility policies for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
- May be required to support multiple units within the hospital as needed.
