Job Title: Pharmacist - Travel Job (#442071)

We're hiring a licensed pharmacist for a contract position where you’ll use your clinical expertise to ensure the safe and thoughtful distribution of medications to individuals navigating a range of physical and mental health challenges. Minimum Requirements:

  • Active Pharmacist license in the State of Florida required.
  • Experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record required.
  • Demonstrated competency in sterile product preparation and parenteral labeling.
  • Experience with medication reconciliation for discharge medication lists.
  • Familiarity with controlled substance management and state/federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Clinical experience with antimicrobial stewardship, including interpretation of culture results and making therapy recommendations.
  • Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing management and anticoagulation dosing/monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills for obtaining prior-to-admission medication histories and providing discharge counseling to patients and families.
  • Minimum 6 months of pharmacist experience preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility Type: Hospital.
  • Shift: Day (5x8).
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • May be required to float to other client facilities as needed.
  • EPIC experience required.
