Minimum Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Active Maryland pharmacist license required.
- Sterile compounding experience required. Candidate must have working knowledge of sterile compounding procedures and preparation of sterile solutions.
- Experience with IV infusion preparation and familiarity with infusion pump programming preferred. Experience with CADD or similar ambulatory infusion pumps is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supervising pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks.
- Experience dispensing prescription medications, maintaining confidential patient records, and providing patient counseling on medications and medical devices.
- Ability to identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
- Prior experience in a compounding pharmacy or ambulatory infusion setting preferred.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Compounding Pharmacy (onsite).
- Shift name: Mid Shift.
- Shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
- Typical weekly schedule: 4–5 days per week with one PRN pharmacist coverage day per week.
- Responsibilities include sterile compounding, IV infusion preparation, dispensing medications, patient counseling, supervising staff, inventory management, and clinical collaboration with prescribers and clinical teams.
