Job Title: Pharmacist - Travel Job (#443911)

Minimum Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
  • Active Michigan pharmacist license required.
  • Experience with prescription dispensing, initial and final prescription review, and medication counseling.
  • Experience maintaining confidential patient records and pharmacy files.
  • Ability to supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacy technicians and clerks.
  • Experience identifying drug-related problems and communicating effectively with prescribers and healthcare team members.
  • Non-sterile compounding experience preferred.
  • Sterile compounding experience preferred.
  • Experience providing point-of-care services such as blood pressure measurement, cholesterol management, or smoking cessation counseling preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Compounding Pharmacy (onsite).
  • Shift name: Mid Shift.
  • Shift hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
  • Shift days: Monday through Friday for the first month; thereafter a part-time schedule of 1–4 days per week.
  • Responsibilities include filling and entering prescriptions, initial and final verification, compounding for external or internal use, supervising staff, inventory management, and patient counseling.
